The SMS Server module works in conjunction with a Cellular Modem, and allows you to access your Signet data from anywhere in the world using your Cell phone and SMS messages.

Security is maintained by assigning Signet Operators with a Cell number. When a request from a Cell number is received, Signet looks up the Cell number, determines the operator involved, and assigns the same access rights as if the operator were sitting in the office.

So, for instance, if an operator does not have access to Debtors, an SMS request for Debtor details would be ignored (or an error message response sent - depending on how you setup the SMS Server).

Simple commands are provided to perform just about any Signet enquiry you can imagine.
